EDUCATION B. S. Zoology and East Asian Studies, 2013, University of Wisconsin Madison
I received my B.S. in Zoology and East Asian Studies from UW Madison focusing on entomology and Japanese culture. My entomological interest is in Coleoptera focusing on Curculionidae taxonomy and biogeography. After graduating from UW Madison I worked at the Milwaukee Public Museum for two years doing identification and collection management work with their invertebrate and vertebrate zoology collections. While there I performed a lot of work in regards to reorganizing and identifying the Curculionidae and Scarabaeidae collections. My work at the Mississippi Entomological Museum includes working with Joe MacGown on the Formicidae of the southeastern United States and working with the Curculionidae collection. |
