Pyramica archboldi, profile view of worker.
Pyramica archboldi has been collected mostly from lakeside or riparian habitats in mixed or deciduous forests in FL and GA. This species has a wedge shaped head and narrowed clypeus, much like P. clypeata, P. ohioensis, and P. laevinasis, but differs from those species in that it has a distinct diastema between the basal lamella and the basal tooth.
